The winter holiday portal www.pistenhotels.info has given the pistenhotels.info Award 2026 to the 50 best hotels with direct access to the ski slopes.

More than 900 hotels from all over the Alps were eligible for the award, which was presented for the sixth time.

First place went to Hotel Schneider in Obertauern (Salzburg, Austria) followed by Hotel Kristall Obertauern (Salzburg, Austria) and Perfeldhof in Hinterglemm (Salzburg, Austria). Of the 50 award-winning hotels, 43 are located in Austria, six in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige and one in Switzerland.
